  3.     This Bulletin Board is run both as my hobby and as a service to the
  4. programmers and modemers who logon. I have always favoured an "open-door"
  5. policy towards running a bbs. I have allowed full access to new callers and
  6. haven't cared a lot about the file transfer ratio a user has. Recently a couple
  7. things have made me carefully rethink my position as a sysop. It has become
  8. more obvious that good users are the ones who participate in a bbs' functions.
  9. This means uploading quality shareware/PD files as well as downloading to one's
  10. heart's content! Also, sharing in the message conferences is considered to be
  11. a very honourable thing to do on a bbs.

  13. If you are interested in sharing on this bbs, I am pleased to have you aboard.

  15.    However, if you are one of the modem bandits interested only in downloading
  16. your ass off, don't waste your time here. You ARE NOT wanted.

  18.    If you are one of the idiots who prefers to logon as eleventeen different
  19. people, don't even read the rest of this!

  21.    If you are a stupid, conceited, irresponsible brat, tell your mommie to
  22. help you logoff this bbs now.

  24. I will tolerate NO abuse of this system by anyone. Any harassing calls, illegal
  25. logon attempts, are other misconduct may result in criminal charges being
  26. pressed against YOU! Ma Bell WILL and DOES help sysops track calls if so
  27. desired.
